Monte finalized roster by signing Rainwaker
Bulgarian player Aleks «Rainwaker» Petrov has officially joined Monte's Counter-Strike roster. His signing was finalized after he, as a stand-in, helped the team defeat NAVI 2:1 in the online stage of BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 1, although later Monte were eliminated by Falcons 0:2.
Rainwaker replaced Lithuanian player Gytis «ryu» Glušauskas, who was bought out by Astralis at the beginning of the year. The next test for the updated roster will take place at Copenhagen Gaming Week Showdown 2026: Monte are in Group B with Tricked, ENCE and illwill, with the opening match against Tricked scheduled for 13 February.
Monte's current roster: Jack «Gizmy» von Spreckelsen, Aurélien «afro» Drapier, Oscar «AZUWU» Bell, Aurimas «Bymas» Pipiras and Aleks «Rainwaker» Petrov. The team is coached by Alexander «kakafu» Szymanczyk.
