Roman Imperium Cup VII: the playoff bracket has been set

The group stage of Roman Imperium Cup VII has ended, eight teams advanced to the playoffs

BESTIA, HEROIC and G2 went through their groups without losing a single map. SINNERS took first place in group C thanks to a head-to-head win over OG.

BetBoom, playing their second of three LAN tournaments with two stand-ins, barely made it through: in group A they finished ahead of Wildcard by just one round. The remaining playoff spots were taken by Fluxo, OG and Acend.

For BIG the tournament turned into a blow to their chances of reaching the IEM Cologne Major. The team, which had recently climbed in the VRS and was considered a candidate for an invite, dropped out already in the group stage after losing to OG and JiJieHao.

The lineup of Benjamin blameF Bremer had earlier reached the final of the BC.Game Masters Championship and closed in on 15th place in the rankings, but before the April 6 deadline BIG have no more tournaments left — their fate now depends on the results of their rivals.
